Angels Greet South Yunderup with “A New Hello”
It is happening again on Monday 31st October (commonly known as Halloween). The Austin Cove Community Church and the residents of South Yunderup will become ‘angels’ for the evening and collect non-perishable food items for those needing a helping hand this Christmas Season.
The “A New Hello” initiative is in its fifth year and continues to grow, with more volunteers taking to the streets, and greater amounts of food being collected from the generous households in the area.
Christmas can be a challenging time for many families. By stocking up the local food services, we are now ready and able to give a helping hand to those families who need it. By having local residents joining in the worthy cause too, we can have an even greater impact in our community.
If you would like to get involved in A New Hello 2016 register below.
If you or someone you know could use a helping hand by way of food, please contact Charles at the Bridge Builders Food Services between 11am and 1pm Monday, Wednesday or Friday on 9581 1980 or visit 370 Pinjarra Road, Greenfields.
Here are some emails and photos from Pastor Devadas in response to the mission offering we sent last week. They are very thankful for your generosity!
