Mission Statement:

Who are we?

Sarah and Kyle Baggaley are the Lead Pastors at Austin Cove Community Church, which held it’s first service on 12th February, 2012 and its official community launch on 29th April, 2012; initially as a campus of 1Church. On April 3rd, 2016 Austin Cove Community Church became a church plant under Baptist Churches of Western Australia.

Austin Cove Community Church is here for people just like you and we invite you to join us soon, just as you are.

Our CORE values:

C: CHRIST CENTRED
O: OUTREACH FOCUSSED
R: RESOURCEFUL & GENEROUS
E: EQUIPPED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK

C: CHRIST CENTRED
Everything we do will be for the cause of Christ.

Matthew 6:33 - But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Romans 12:2 - Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Colossians 3:17 - And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

1 Corinthians 3:11 - For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 10:31 - So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Ephesians 2:20-21 - Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord.

O: OUTREACH FOCUSSED
The church exists for the world. We will continually reach out to the lost with love in the hope that they accept eternal salvation through Jesus.

Matthew 28:18-20 - Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Acts 1:8 - But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Romans 10:14 - How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?

Matthew 25:35-40 - For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

R: RESOURCEFUL & GENEROUS
We will be creative, resourceful and just plain generous in our giving, so we have more than enough resources to do God’s work.

Exodus 36:3-7 - Moses gave them the materials donated by the people of Israel as sacred offerings for the completion of the sanctuary. But the people continued to bring additional gifts each morning.  Finally the craftsmen who were working on the sanctuary left their work.  They went to Moses and reported, “The people have given more than enough materials to complete the job the Lord has commanded us to do!”So Moses gave the command, and this message was sent throughout the camp: “Men and women, don’t prepare any more gifts for the sanctuary. We have enough!” So the people stopped bringing their sacred offerings.  Their contributions were more than enough to complete the whole project.

2 Chronicles 24:9-11 - Then a proclamation was sent throughout Judah and Jerusalem, telling the people to bring to the Lord the tax that Moses, the servant of God, had required of the Israelites in the wilderness. This pleased all the leaders and the people, and they gladly brought their money and filled the chest with it. Whenever the chest became full, the Levites would carry it to the king’s officials. Then the court secretary and an officer of the high priest would come and empty the chest and take it back to the Temple again. This went on day after day, and a large amount of money was collected.

E: EQUIPPED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK
We will continue to train and equip people to use their gifts for the Kingdom of God.

BY JESUS
Hebrews 13:20-21 - Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in you that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

THROUGH HIS WORD
2 Timothy 3:16-17 -  All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

BY GOING OUT
Matthew 28:19 - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
