The Blessing of Spiritual Inheritance
DAY 29: WED 29 MAR, 17
“…Know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:19-21)
Come and Rest in My PresenceDeclare the glory of God on behalf of the generations of your family! “Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength!” (1 Chronicles 16:28)
“…You are to seek the place the Lord your God will choose... to put his Name there for his dwelling. To that place you must go… There, in the presence of the Lord your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the Lord your God has blessed you.” (Deuteronomy 12:5-7)
Establish in your heart, in your home, habits and daily prayer an altar (place or time) where you honour God and receive His fullness on behalf of your natural family and those you have adopted as spiritual family. For example: A branch of my extended family prays for each other at 7am from 7-14th day of every month.
Receive My PowerReading: Acts 20:32-38 ESV Audio Bible
Extract: Acts 20:32-38 TPT
“’And so now, I entrust you into God’s hands and the message of his grace, which is all that you need to become strong. All of God’s blessings are imparted through the message of his grace, which he provides as the spiritual inheritance given to all of his holy ones. I haven’t been after your money or any of your possessions. You all know that I’ve worked with my hands to meet my own needs and the needs of those who’ve served with me. I’ve left you an example of how you should serve and take care of those who are weak. For we must always cherish the words of our Lord Jesus, who taught, “Giving brings a far greater blessing than receiving.”’
After Paul finished speaking, he knelt down and prayed with them. Then they all cried with great weeping as one after another hugged Paul and kissed him. What broke their hearts the most were his words ‘You will not see my face again.’ Then they tearfully accompanied Paul back to the ship.”
Listen to what the Word Says, Obey and Share.
S: What is God saying to you through this?
O: Will you obey the call to turn and impart honour to each other across the generations? (Malachi 4:4-6) Freely give all you have been given. To have a rich inheritance for our natural and spiritual sons and daughters and be able to impart blessing, we must first receive God’s blessing. “Everything in the Kingdom of God is to be received, not achieved. We cannot release what we have not received.” (Hetland, p.43, 56)
S: Paul passes on "all of God's blessing through the message of his grace" and leaves "an example of how you should take care of those who are weak." What would you want to share with the next generation if you were leaving them?

Be My Spirit-led Witnesses Be alert to recognise and encourage children and teenagers who seek the Presence of God – like “Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man would not depart from the tent.” (Exodus 33:11) “He had tasted the sweetness of His Presence, His glory, His nearness and he couldn’t get enough of Him. And so He stayed a little bit longer. He loved His Presence and wanted more of Him. This is what compelled him to stay in the presence of God.” (Hetland, p11)

Be My House of PrayerLord, Your Presence compels us to abide and remain at rest in You and receive all You seek to impart so we raise up Your beloved ones to fulfill Your purpose for this generation.
Please pray with us for Queensland and those people and places impacted by Cyclone Debbie and any consequences. We declare God's mercy to them. In Far North Queensland 21 churches have collaborated to maintain local canopy of 24/7 prayer and worship throughout the 40 Days Prayer & Worship Relay. Ps Melissa Haigh who as coordinated this from Cairns has said, "It's been great to have this Canopy of Prayer to call on for times like this." They welcome our prayer for the mercy of God at this vital time.
Holy Spirit, come upon us and lead us in how we pray:
Pray for your prayer list and family and friends to receive Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Pray for Australia to receive Jesus as Lord and for His Church to be His House of Prayer.
Pray for a new generation of young prayer warriors and evangelists to arise in Jesus’ revival and transformation in our nation.
“…you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses..." (Acts 1:8)
