A Message Backed by Power
“My message and my preaching were.. not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.” (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)
Come and Rest in My Presence Come and Rest in Your Lord’s Presence - rest in His finished work. (Hebrews 4:9-11)
“Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-130)
Express your dependence on Jesus. “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)
Celebrate that Jesus has released us all striving and counterfeit religious works.
Declare: “our sufficiency is from God who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” (2 Corinthians 3:5-6)

Extract: Acts 14:1-3, 7-11,15 TPT
“When Paul and Barnabas arrived at Iconium, the same thing happened there. They went, as they always did, to the Jewish meeting house and preached to the people with such power that a large crowd of both Jews and non-Jews believed. Some of the Jews refused to believe, and they began to poison the minds of the non-Jews to discredit the believers. Yet Paul and Barnabas stayed there for a long time, preaching boldly and fearlessly about the Lord. Many trusted in the Lord, for he backed up his message of grace with miracles, signs, and wonders performed by the apostles. And they continued to preach the hope of the gospel.
In Lystra, Paul and Barnabas encountered a man who from birth had never walked, for he was crippled in his feet. He listened carefully to Paul as he preached. All of a sudden, Paul discerned that this man had faith in his heart to be healed. So he shouted, ‘You! In the name of our Lord Jesus, stand up on your feet!’ The man instantly jumped to his feet, stood for the first time in his life, and walked! When the crowds saw the miracle Paul had done, they shouted in their own language, ‘The gods have come down to us as men!’ ‘People, what are you doing? We’re only weak human beings like everyone else.’
